ABOUT US
The idea of A&A Carpentry was created well before A&A Carpentry was established. We were two carpenters on a crew who spent most of our long days framing roofs, siding houses, remodeling kitchens, building additions, and everything else you can expect from an experienced residential carpenter.
Often, we would work on projects from “breaking ground” to “turn-key”.
Through our years of working together we always talked about how we would do things differently. Conversations often had an air of excitement but still seemed like a distant dream.
From customer relationships to project development, we wanted to take a hands-on approach. We felt that developing a relationship with the people we did work for was crucial.
We had spent years working for people who hired other people to deal with the homeowners we were working for. With this “chain of command” came miscommunication, distrust, and often headaches from both sides. We wanted to find a way to work as a team with the people allowing us to work on their home.
With that simple idea, A&A Carpentry was born. We are carpenters and craftsmen first and foremost. The two of us being hands-on and in the center of our projects was paramount to the creation and idea of our business. We had figured out how to be an owner-operated business while still being successful and not drowning in back-end work. With someone to handle our office work, both of us meeting with clients and developing projects, and a few extra team members to give us a much needed hand, we were able to make our dream into a reality.
From the bottom of our hearts we are grateful that you have chosen us to take on your project, we hope we live up to your expectations of us and make your dreams for your home come true! Remember, you never work a day in your life when you love what you do. We love what we do, so thank you!

I have been building custom homes and remodeling for over a decade. I graduated from Olympia High School and attended SPSCC. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with and making memories with my family. In my work I value my ability to work through unexpected obstacles as you never know what's behind a wall, under the floor, or in an attic! As one of the owners I take a great deal of pride in our companies craftsmanship. It is that pride that shows in the finished products and the great relationships our team has created with our customers.

OWNER & CARPENTER
I began in the construction industry almost a decade ago. Initially working as a handy man, then cabinetry and then I found my place as a carpenter. Building and renovating homes is my passion and that is what I've been doing ever-since. I'm from Chehalis Washington but I have spent most of my life in the Olympia area. When I'm not working I am spending time with my family, at the dog park or swimming whenever possible. One of the things I most enjoy about my work is making a customers vision a reality.

I've been in construction for over a decade! Ever since I was 15 years old. Having always been a builder I enjoy working hard and loveing what I do. Honetly, I can't imagine doing anything else. Originally from Mississippi, my family moved to the Pacific Northwest as Hurricane Katrina refugees in 2005. In my free time you can usually find me fishing, hiking, swimming, and trail riding as I love the outdoors. I also have a small shop where I do fine woodworking in the winter. Craftsmanship in my work is my priority! I've always believed that if something is worth doing, its worth doing right.

CARPENTER
It seems like I have always been working in construction as I started as a teenager. I am eager to continue learning with this crew! In addition to carpentry, I am also a graphic design student at Evergreen. I'm proud of my creative abilities and the opportunity it has given me, even in carpentry. My hobbies include playing piano, illustrating, reading at the park, and barbequing with friends. When it comes to my work, I value my relationships with my crew members and the community, I enjoy making people happy! I can't wait to see what comes next.

CARPENTER
Before starting with A&A Carpentry, I spent two years working in construction in Port Orchard. I was born in Olympia and have always stayed nearby. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my friends, and playing video games. The most important thing about my work is making sure everything looks great. I love knowing that everyone is happy with what we built!
